Step-Tec designs, produces and repairs motor spindles for leading manufactures of machining centers for milling and drilling applications.
Step-Tec is able to produce high-speed, high-performance spindles with integrated motors which result in better-quality surfaces, less surface finishing and constant temperatures. Thanks to these major advantages, machining times can be reduced dramatically while maintaining optimal quality standards.
All milling spindles are designed after the successful formula of the first Step-Tec spindle - The 42,000 rpm - HVC 140 High Speed Spindle.
On request, Step-Tec can also design motor spindles to individual customer specifications. Coupled with the necessary know-how and innovation potential, this leads to high-performance, state-of-the-art products. Similary, close cooperation with renowned research institutes brings our customers the benefits of leading- edge technology. Step-Tec is also able to supply complete spindle systems consisting of motor spindle and supply units in order to provide a comprehensive system solution.
